just watched:
minnie and moskowitz (dir. john cassavetes, 1971)
the killing (dir. stanley kubrick, 1956)
minnie + moskowitz was so amazing, it was my first time seeing it but it won't be my last:)))
i feel like elisha cook jr.'s character george in the killing was william h. macy's inspiration for his character in fargo. it was insane, it reminded me of that so much. when this movie ended i whispered aloud to myself "woah, soo good," kind of in shock.
both of these had seriously stand-out, amazing endings. something similar about the vibe of how they ended too. good picks for back to back somehow, i guess one always looks for the similarities in things.
